FastTrack for the Web lists all Charles Schwab OneSource funds and helps you pick the 5-star funds that best meet your objectives. You might think that you could get the same information from schwab.com, but the "pre-screened" Select list of mutual funds is dated, biased, and offers no diversification help.

More Return with Less Risk

This FastTrack chart takes the 26 Balanced funds in the OneSource program as of July, 2003 and shifts 25% of assets among the 5-Star fund quarterly based on current return.

This strategy produced the 5-star 98.38% return shown in green since 1996. In contrast, the red SWOBX fund recommended by Charles Schwab for "moderate investors" produced only 69.81% return.
